At the end of LEGO club, two boys were quietly taking their creation apart and putting into the appropriate bins. I noticed the third boy hanging back a bit, holding his spaceship over his head, eyeing the bin and then me as if gauging the rewards versus the punishments of throwing it.
I cut short his mental balance and said, "Whoa. That would be too destructive," and gave him the stern eyebrow raise.
One of the two quiet kids looked up at me in awe and said, "Wow! Nice use of vocabulary!"
Oh, kid. You're too easily impressed.
